Dr. Saurabh Mankotia BDS, MBA, MSD, CAGS
Dr. Saurabh Mankotia received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Government Dental College and Hospital – Patiala, India. He completed his postdoctoral training at Boston University, School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Research. His comprehensive training covered multiple areas of dentistry, where he conducted research related to Adverse Childhood Experiences & Dental Health and successfully defended his thesis earning a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS). Dr. Mankotia is licensed to provide dental services in the state of Texas by the Western Regional Examination Board. He is certified in nitrous oxide administration. As a well-respected member of the dental community, Dr. Mankotia maintains affiliation with the American Dental Association and the State of Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Mankotia is also a graduate of the University of Findlay, Ohio, where he earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), with a focus in healthcare management.
Dr. Mankotia honorably served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. He served with distinction and had numerous administrative and leadership responsibilities. He received many service awards and commendation medals during his service years.
Dr. Mankotia is proud to serve families at South Star Dental where he warmly welcomes patients of all ages creating a dental home. He continues to be fascinated by the connection between a healthy mouth and a healthy body. This shows in his work, through his focus on improving his patient’s overall well-being and quality of life. He takes time to build close relationships with his patients and provide each and every one of them with personalized care.
He has been married for seven years and in his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, vacationing, and fitness activities. Dr. Mankotia looks forward to building relationships and serving the patients in our community with compassion and respect.
