Hello! My name is Monica Reyes, I am an Office Manager at South Star Dental. I have 10 plus years experience in the dental field. I was fortunate to join this amazing team with an opportunity to give great dental care. I was born in Dallas, Tx and new to Galveston County. As most Dallas natives I love my COWBOYS! My world consist of being a working mom. Ive two vibrant young girls one on the spectrum that keep me busy. I enjoy outdoor activities and music.

Hello my name is Anavil I’m the Front desk coordinator; I have been with South star Dental for a little over a year and I’m happy to be part of this amazing team … I was born and raised in Richmond California I have been in Galveston County for 2 years now
Jessica Sullivan
Dental Assistant
Hello! My name is Jessica Sullivan, I have been a dental assistant since 2000, after completing my training at the Naval Dental Clinic at Camp LeJeune in North Carolina. With more than 25 years in dentistry, I take pride in helping patients feel comfortable while ensuring they receive excellent care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my kids, reading a good book, birdwatching, and practicing martial arts. In fact, I have been training in Kung Fu even longer than I have been working in dentistry. I also have a unique hobby of collecting teeth from throughout my dental career (an occupational hazard, perhaps?) and proudly embrace my love of all things black. If it involves coffee, birds, books, martial arts, or teeth, I’m probably interested.

I am a 24-year-old dental assistant and proud ambivert who is passionate about helping others and promoting overall wellness. I take pride in providing care and support to those around me while continuously striving for personal and professional growth. As a patient and adaptable learner, I embrace new challenges and opportunities that help me move closer to my goals. Outside of work, I enjoy expressing my creativity through artistic projects, playing video games, and spending quality time with my close friends. I value balance, growth, and meaningful connections, and I am always working toward becoming the best version of myself.
